Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department requiring MD or compact RN licensure and at least 1 year of travel experience.

Details

• Level 2 Trauma Center Emergency Department with 54 beds
• High-acuity, fast-paced setting averaging 220 patients per day
• Night shift schedule, 4x12-hour shifts from 19:00-7:00
• Weekend scheduling may include up to 6 weekend shifts per 6-week scheduling period
• Night shift staff may be assigned up to 3 Sundays per scheduling period
• Uses EPIC EMR system

Requirements

• Active RN license (MD or Compact) required
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience required
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• 2-step PPD and flu vaccine required with no exemptions

• Provide emergency nursing care in a high-acuity, high-volume trauma center environment
• Local candidates accepted at a reduced bill rate
