Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced ER RN for a Level II Trauma Center requiring prior travel experience and multiple specialty certifications.

Details

• Emergency Department setting in a short-term acute care hospital with 426 staffed beds
• Level II Trauma Center
• Day shift schedule, 4x12 hours (0700-1930)
• Every other weekend required
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active CT RN license or Compact license required
• Minimum 2 years of ER experience required (1.5 years may be considered with Level I trauma or travel experience)
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC
• Epic charting experience required
• Prior travel nursing experience required
• Skills required include IV therapy/phlebotomy, arterial line management, respiratory care, BiPAP/CPAP management, care of ventilated patients, cardiac monitoring, dysrhythmia interpretation and management, isolation precautions/PPE, triage, and IV vasopressor administration
• Central line care/management preferred
• One professional reference required

• Provide emergency care including triage, medication administration, and management of critically ill patients
