Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED or ICU experience and MA RN licensure.

Details

• Large, high-acuity emergency department with 118 beds
• Highly diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, and critically ill/ICU-level cases
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• Night shift schedule with 3x12 or 4x12 hour shifts, 15:00-03:30
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required post-orientation
• Strong critical care skills and adaptability required for a dynamic, fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Manage complex, unstable, and mixed-acuity patients ranging from behavioral health to ICU-level care
