Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a high-acuity Emergency Department position requiring at least 2 years of ED or ICU experience and MA RN licensure.

Details

• Work in a large, high-acuity 118-bed emergency department
• Diverse patient population including behavioral health, boarding patients, and critically ill/ICU-level cases
• Typical nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:6
• NOC shift, 3x12s totaling 36 hrs/week (4x12 schedules also available)
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ED or ICU experience required, post-orientation
• Strong critical care skills and adaptability required
• Comfort managing complex, unstable patients in a fast-paced environment

Additional Information

• Care for a mixed-acuity population ranging from behavioral health to critical/ICU-level patients
• Work as part of a Flex Team supporting emergency care operations
• Must be comfortable in a dynamic, high-volume ED setting
