Job Opportunity – Progressive Care Unit (PCU) Float Pool RN – Georgia

Start Date: July 6, 2026

Location: Atlanta, Georgia

Compensation: Details provided to qualified applicants

Schedule: Float Pool assignment across all PCU/IMCU units with cardiac patient population. Nurse-to-patient ratio of 1:3-4. Limited time-off requests.

Highlights:

• Float across all Progressive Care and Intermediate Care units specializing in cardiac populations
• Manage acute cardiac conditions including STEMI, NSTEMI, cardiothoracic surgery patients, and chest pain
• Administer cardiac drips such as Milrinone, Dobutamine, and Pressors
• May also be assigned to telemetry beds with lower acuity patients within the same units
• EPIC Electronic Medical Record system
• Work in a large, high-volume medical facility with diverse cardiac case mix

Requirements:

• Current RN license in Georgia
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years progressive care or cardiac nursing experience in a similarly sized facility
• Strong clinical skills in cardiac monitoring and critical drip management
• Flexibility to float across multiple units and adapt to varying patient acuity levels
• Current badge-appropriate photo and complete demographic information required for credentialing
