Unit Specifics:
  • Number of Beds : 12 bed freestanding ER, 7 vertical fast track area
  • Patient Ratios : 4-8 patient for nursing. Average 80 patients per day, 100+ winter surge volume.
  • Unit staffing description- (unit secretaries and tech availability) :
  • Type of equipment : Client Optima CT scanner, Client portable x-ray
  • Documentation system: Meditech, Sectra
  • Scheduling requirements: varies, 36 hours, weekends/holiday rotate, no on-call
  • Floating policy: not required
  • Patient Experience requirements: Our patients are our priority. We care like family!
Hospital Specifics-
  • Certifications: Acute Stroke Ready FSED with Comprehensive Stroke, Trauma Level 1 and Burn Center main campus facilities.
Hiring profile
Requested Skill Set: Ability to work independently and cover both CT and X-ray. Often single staff coverage for both modalities. Professional, friendly and good communications skills.

Advanced skills needed: Acute Stroke Ready. Moderate pediatric volume.

Procedures performed on unit: Normal ER procedures. No surgical procedures or biopsies.

Certifications Required: CPR, ARRT, ARRT-CT

  • Grey scrubs
