Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring a VA or compact license and 2 years of experience with strong IV skills.

Details

• GI/Endoscopy unit handling approximately 25 patients per day (75% outpatient, 25% inpatient)
• Uses EPIC and EndoWorks EMR systems
• Day shifts scheduled 0700-1730, 4 shifts per week (days vary)
• Weekends and holidays covered via on-call rotation
• On-call required 1-2 times per week, including 10-hour Saturday and Sunday shifts and self-scheduled 2-hour weekday call
• No floating required

Requirements

• Active RN license (VA or Compact) required
• BLS certification from AHA required
• ACLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy nursing experience required
• Strong IV skills required

Additional Information

• One week of floor orientation provided
• Scrub requirements include navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
