Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy Lab position requiring strong IV skills and prior tech experience.

Requirements

• Active RN license (Standard or Compact) or VA state license currently in hand
• Current certifications: BLS (AHA) and ACLS
• Minimum 2 years of GI/Endoscopy experience required
• Strong IV skills required
• Prior technician experience required
• EPIC and EndoWorks EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care in a GI/Endoscopy Lab setting handling approximately 25 procedures per day, split between 75% outpatient and 25% inpatient cases
• Weekend and holiday coverage is provided through an on-call rotation
• On-call responsibilities include 10-hour shifts on Saturday and Sunday, plus self-scheduled 2-hour blocks Monday through Friday
• No floating required
• Floor orientation is provided for 1 week
• Dress code requires navy blue pants with solid navy blue or white tops, and solid navy blue or white jackets
