Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a GI/Endoscopy position requiring at least 2 years of experience and prior travel assignment history.

Details

• Work in the main floor endoscopy unit performing primarily colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures
• Procedures requiring anesthesia are performed in a separate suite adjacent to the OR
• Conscious sedation procedures are performed in the main endo unit procedure rooms
• Scheduled for 40 hours per week on 8-hour day shifts
• Start times vary by day based on case mix, with the earliest shift beginning at 6:15am on Mondays
• Flexibility required to stay past scheduled end time if a case runs long

Requirements

• Active RN license (VT or compact) required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience required
• At least 1 prior travel assignment required
• Recent Level 1 or comparable Level 2 Trauma experience within the last 2 years required

Additional Information

• Provide nursing care for patients undergoing colonoscopies and basic endoscopic procedures
• Candidates must reside outside a 75-mile radius of the facility to be considered
