Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Petaluma, California

Schedule: Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30), 13-week assignment. No weekend coverage required. Must commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day).

Highlights:

• Work in a dedicated Gastroenterology Lab with adult and geriatric patient populations
• Comprehensive interdisciplinary support including IV teams, respiratory services, pharmacy, and rapid response teams
• Epic charting system experience required
• Float opportunities to preop and phase II PACU, with potential rotation to nearby sister facilities (24-hour advance notice provided)
• One pre-approved time off period available during assignment
• Community hospital setting with collaborative team environment

Requirements:

• Active California RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 3 years of nursing experience; at least 1 year in GI Lab or related specialty required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, and CGRN
• Proficiency in Epic charting system required
• Experience with conscious sedation administration and monitoring, including Propofol and Versed
• Skills required: colonoscopy, EGD, pre/post procedure care, IV management, airway management, specimen handling, and interpretation of dysrhythmias
• Preferred experience with ERCP, bronchoscopy, endoscopic ultrasound (EUS), and outpatient endoscopy center settings
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years
• Must be located outside 50-mile local radius
