Job Summary:
Histologist position located in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves processing tissue samples, embedding, cutting, and staining slides within a pathology laboratory setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a pathology laboratory environment and be proficient in histology techniques.

Job Details:

• Schedule: 6:00 PM 2:30 AM, Monday through Friday
• Length of assignment: 13 weeks
• Certifications: ASCP (HT/HLT)
• Education: Successful completion of a formal histology technologist training program or an Associate's degree in chemical, physical, or biological sciences.
• Required Qualifications: Minimum of 2 years of experience within the specialty (Pathology Laboratory).
• Responsibilities include receiving specimens from surgery, accessioning specimens into Cerner, collecting blocks from pathology staff, processing tissue, embedding, cutting, and staining slides.
• Location: Atlanta, Georgia
