Description

American Traveler is hiring an Occupational Therapist for a home health position covering the Fairfield/Napa area, open to new grads with a valid CA OT license (license required if applicable).

Details

  • Home health setting covering assigned county territories including Vacaville, Fairfield, Rio Vista, Suisun City, Dixon, Vallejo, Benicia, Napa, American Canyon, and Yountville
  • Day shift schedule
  • 26-week assignment length
  • May require weekend coverage or travel outside the primary service area to maintain caseload

Requirements

  • Current, active CA Occupational Therapist license required if applicable
  • Minimum 1 year of experience required
  • BLS certification required
  • Valid driver's license, auto insurance, and auto registration required
  • Home health experience preferred but not required
  • New graduates welcome to apply

Additional Information

  • Provide occupational therapy services to home health patients across assigned territory
  • Willingness to see COVID-positive and COVID PUI patients may be required
  • Required documentation includes TB test (annual), MMR, Varicella, Hepatitis B, Tdap (within 10 years), flu vaccine (annual), drug screen, and physical exam
  • Former employees of the facility are not eligible for this travel assignment
  • All requested time off must be disclosed prior to assignment confirmation
