Description

American Traveler is seeking a Home Health Physical Therapist with 2+ years of experience and Homecare Homebase/OASIS expertise for a 13-week assignment in Washington, DC.

Details

Home health setting covering assigned zip codes within the District of Columbia based on staffing needs
Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
May be required to float to cover another zip code as needed
Uses Homecare Homebase (HCHB) and Point Click Care EMR systems with OASIS documentation
Mileage reimbursed from first to last patient visit of the day
Clinicians use personal vehicles and must maintain reliable transportation with valid licensure and insurance

Requirements

BLS certification required
DC license required if applicable
Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the last 7 years required
OASIS-E experience required
Homecare Homebase and OASIS experience required
At least one prior travel assignment required
Experience with COPD and CHF patient populations
Proficiency in patient assessment, adaptive/assistive devices, body mechanics, pain assessment, and skin integrity
Experience with gait belt and Hoyer lift equipment
Skilled in home exercise programs and patient/family education

Additional Information

Responsibilities include home-based physical therapy assessment, treatment, and OASIS documentation for geriatric and orthopedic patient populations
No RTO permitted during the first two weeks of the assignment
Maximum of 7 days RTO allowed per 13-week contract
Local candidates within 60 miles accepted at a lower pay rate
Manager interviews are not guaranteed
