Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring at least 2 years of experience, prior travel experience, and Epic EMR proficiency.

Details

Home health setting
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
On-call required, approximately 7–10 shifts per month
Epic EMR experience required
Floating between like units and campuses within a 20-mile radius is possible, though floating between campuses is rare

Requirements

Active TN RN license or a compact RN license compliant with NLC guidelines (no pending licensure)
Minimum 2 years of recent home health or relevant RN experience required; 3+ years preferred
At least one completed prior travel assignment required; first-time travelers will not be considered
Epic EMR experience required
ADN is accepted for this position; BSN is not required
A copy of your driver's license is required for consideration
All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests submitted after an offer is made will not be honored
Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
Former travelers who completed a full-year assignment must be away for at least 1 full year before returning
If the assignment includes end-of-year holidays, candidates must be willing to work 2 of 3 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's) if all three fall within the assignment period, or at least 1 if only 2 holidays fall within the assignment
Vaccination status must be provided
