Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN for a 13-week day-shift assignment requiring an active OR license and at least 1 year of skilled home health experience.

Details

• Adult Home Health setting covering East Portland, OR and surrounding areas
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM)
• 1:1 patient ratios, visiting up to 6 patients per day
• No weekend requirements
• No on-call responsibilities
• No floating required between like units
• Facility cannot accommodate 4x10 or 3x12 schedules

Requirements

• Active OR RN license required
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• OASIS charting experience required
• Epic EMR experience required (Epic Remote Client and Rover app)
• Must provide own transportation

Additional Information

• Provide skilled home health nursing visits to adult patients in their homes
• Occasional daily drive radius of up to 60 miles (60-90 minute total drive time)
• Business casual attire required; scrubs allowed but not mandatory, no jeans
• Free parking available, with mileage reimbursed at the IRS standard rate
• Primary series COVID vaccination plus one booster required
• Must be able to commit to working 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
• First-time travelers accepted, provided they have home health experience
• Local candidates accepted within a 50-75 mile radius at the same pay rate
• Former permanent staff may return as travelers after a 3-month waiting period, provided they reside more than 50 miles from the facility
