Description

American Traveler is hiring a Home Health RN Float for Boston-area communities, requiring active MA RN licensure and prior certified home care and case management experience.

Details

• Home health setting covering Boston neighborhoods including Back Bay, Beacon Hill, Cambridge, Charlestown, and surrounding areas
• 13-week assignment with a schedule of 08:00-16:30
• Weekend rotation required approximately once every 6 weeks
• Ability to travel to patient homes as assigned
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• Active MA RN license required; conditional or pending licenses not accepted
• Both NURSYS and BON verification required for nursing license
• AHA-issued BLS/certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of Certified Home Care experience required
• Minimum 1 year of Case Management experience required
• Flu vaccine required with no religious or medical exemptions allowed

Additional Information

• Assess patient conditions, implement care plans, and provide ongoing education and support to patients and families
• Perform admission processes and case management duties in accordance with home care policies and standards
• Maintain thorough and timely electronic documentation and interdisciplinary communication
• Start date contingent on credentialing clearance; delayed clearance may result in a rescheduled start date
• Local candidates permitted if permanent residence is within 60 miles of Boston, at a reduced rate
• No validated parking available at Boston locations; public transportation or paid public parking required
• Timekeeping is managed through UKG/Kronos
