Description

American Traveler is hiring a Registered Nurse-Hospice case manager for a home health setting, requiring hospice experience and a VA or compact RN license.

Details

• Home health hospice case manager role
• Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating may be requested based on facility needs

Requirements

• Active VA RN license in hand or proof of compact license required at time of consideration
• Hospice experience required within the home health setting
• Specialty experience required within the last year
• BLS certification required, must be through the American Heart Association (AHA)

Additional Information

• Serve as a hospice case manager providing home health care
• Mileage reimbursed at the IRS rate
• Local candidates accepted at the same base rate
• Prior permanent employees must have a 6-month gap before returning as a traveler
• Requests for time off should be minimal, ideally none during the assignment and no more than 7 days total, submitted with the initial application
