Job Responsibilities

  • Perform high-quality CT and diagnostic X-ray imaging procedures according to physician orders and department protocols
  • Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures while ensuring comfort and safety
  • Operate CT and radiologic imaging equipment efficiently and safely
  • Produce accurate diagnostic images while maintaining exceptional image quality standards
  • Follow radiation safety guidelines and ALARA principles
  • Verify patient identification and explain procedures clearly before imaging
  • Maintain accurate patient records and documentation within the electronic medical record system
  • Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care
  • Perform routine equipment quality control and report equipment concerns promptly
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, infection prevention protocols, and regulatory standards

Education & Certification Requirements

  • A.R.R.T. Registration – Required
  • O.D.H. Licensure – Required
  • BLS Certification – Required (May be obtained during orientation period)
  • 1–3 years of experience in Radiology (Imaging and Therapy) within a healthcare or medical setting – Preferred
