Job Description
Elitecare Medical Staffing is seeking a dedicated House Supervisor for a travel nursing assignment in Alturas, CA. This position plays a critical role in ensuring high-quality patient care and effective management of nursing staff within the skilled nursing facility (SNF).
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as a liaison between the Director of Nursing (DON) and SNF nursing staff.
- Oversee the quality of nursing care and ensure compliance with physician orders.
- Manage staffing schedules, payroll, and disciplinary actions for nursing personnel.
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, staff orientation, and educational programs.
- Collaborate with medical staff and administration to enhance patient care services.
- Assist in budget management and ensure compliance with licensing requirements.
Qualifications
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- 3 to 5 years of progressive nursing leadership experience, preferably in long-term care.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Dependable and organized, with strong communication skills.
Experience
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a long-term care facility required.
Work Location
- In-person position at the facility.
