Start Date: October 5, 2026

Location: Spokane, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 4x10-hour shifts (8:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Every other weekend required. Flexible 10 or 12-hour shift options available.

Highlights:

• Work in a 629-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital with Level II Trauma and Level II Pediatric Trauma designations
• No direct patient contact role – focus on bed placement coordination and transfer center operations
• Collaborate closely with house supervisors and interdisciplinary teams including interpretation and social services
• Epic charting system utilized throughout the facility
• Free parking provided for all staff
• 20-week assignment with potential for extension

Requirements:

• Active Washington State RN license or Compact license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a house supervisor or transfer center coordinator required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with intake, bed control, transfers, and bed placement processes
• Skills in crisis intervention/management, facility/bed diversion, organizational escalation processes, and transfer to higher level care
• Experience across multiple patient populations including neonates, pediatrics, adults, and geriatrics
• Two professional references covering one year of experience within the last three years
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
