Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, House Supervisor – Chewelah, WA 99109

Start Date: October 19, 2026

Location: Chewelah, Washington

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), rotating weekends required. This is a 13-week travel assignment at a 23-bed Critical Access facility with an average daily census of 16 patients.

Highlights:

• Leadership role providing oversight for both the Emergency Department and Acute Care unit
• Dual responsibility: House Supervisor duties plus functioning as second ER nurse when needed
• Work with diverse patient populations across all age groups from neonates to geriatrics
• Collaborative environment with interdisciplinary support including Physical Therapy, Respiratory Services, Pharmacy, and Radiology
• Epic charting system in a modern Critical Access hospital setting

Requirements:

• Active Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of submission)
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience with at least 1 year in Emergency Department
• Previous charge nurse and supervisory experience required
• Previous travel nursing experience required
• Current certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, NIHSS, and NRP
• Epic charting system experience required
• Strong skills in emergency care, code management, crisis intervention, patient flow coordination, and IV therapy
• Commitment to work 3 of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day)
