Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience
• Active compact or Ohio RN license in hand at time of submission
• BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Epic EHR experience required
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Ability to work night shifts and float to units of equivalent or lower acuity
• Strong critical care skills, including telemetry and ventilator management
• Education from an ACEN- or CCNE-accredited nursing program
• 2 professional references required, including at least 1 from a manager, director, or formal leader

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality patient care in a Critical Care Float Pool setting
• Float to multiple ICU areas as staffing and patient acuity needs change
• Support neuro, surgical, medical, cardiology/diagnostics, and cardiovascular ICU populations
• Monitor and manage critically ill adult patients with complex diagnoses
• Perform and support ICU interventions such as IV starts, telemetry monitoring, ventilator management, and titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips
• Collaborate closely with respiratory therapy, pharmacy, rapid response teams, and other interdisciplinary healthcare partners
• Maintain flexibility, professionalism, and strong clinical judgment in a fast-moving critical care environment
• Follow float policies and provide care within appropriate acuity levels
