• Weekend Coverage: Minimum every other weekend
• Float Requirement: Required to float within equivalent or lower-acuity units as needed
• Charting System: Epic

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Proficiency with Epic documentation
• Experience with IV starts, telemetry, and ventilator management
• Travel nursing experience preferred
• Active RN license in hand at time of submission
• Ability to work with adult critical care patients in high-acuity environments
• Compliance with credentialing requirements and timely onboarding steps

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to adult ICU patients across multiple critical care units
• Float to areas such as Neuro ICU, Surgical ICU, Medical ICU, Cardiology/Diagnostics, and CVICU as assigned
• Monitor and manage ventilated patients, titrate vasoactive and cardiac drips, and support complex hemodynamic care
• Perform and assist with advanced critical care procedures and interventions
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation in Epic
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver safe, high-quality patient care
• Adapt quickly to changing patient needs, unit priorities, and staffing demands
• Follow float policies and provide care within units of equivalent or lower acuity
