**Exciting Opportunity for ICU Float Pool Registered Nurses!** Join a dynamic team and elevate your nursing career in our ICU Float Pool! If you are passionate about providing exceptional patient care in a fast-paced environment, this is the role for you! **Job Description:** - **Position:** Registered Nurse - ICU Float Pool - **Experience Required:** - Minimum of 2 years of ICU experience in a facility with 400 beds or larger - First-time travelers welcome with required experience - **Shift:** - Night shifts (19:00 - 07:30) - Options for 36 or 48 hours per week - **Floating Requirements:** - Mandatory floating to Medical-Surgical, Telemetry, and Post-Anesthesia Care Units (PACU) **Key Responsibilities:** - Provide care to adults and geriatrics in a 24-bed ICU - Float to Overflow PACU, MS/Tele, and Stepdown units as needed - Manage high-acuity patients in various settings - Collaborate with interdisciplinary support teams, including IV Teams, Respiratory Services, and more **Required Certifications:** - ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) - BLS (Basic Life Support) - NIHSS (National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale) **Special Skills:** - IV therapy & Starting/Maintaining IVs - Arterial line management - Blood product administration - Ventilator management & Care of ventilated patients - Interpretation of Arterial Blood Gases (ABGs) **Additional Information:** - EKG Exam on the first day of orientation — passing is required for contract continuation - 6 weekend shifts every 6-week period - 1 pre-approved time-off request allowed - Must have current CA RN License **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
