Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a Float Pool position at a Level 1 trauma center requiring 2+ years of experience and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Details

• Float Pool position covering all critical care floors, ER and ER hold, plus MTC/Step-Down/PACU for holds as needed
• Level 1 trauma center handling high-acuity, high-volume, and complex cases
• Night shift schedule with 12-hour shifts
• Travelers expected to work 4 weekend shifts per month
• Block scheduling is generally not approved
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• Active RN license (GA state or compact) required
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience in a similarly sized, high-volume facility required
• Proven experience in high-pressure, large-scale trauma environments required
• Experience managing critical, fast-paced situations in diverse and severe cases required
• Epic EMR experience preferred

Additional Information

• Provide critical care nursing support across multiple ICU and specialty units as part of the float pool
• Minimal RTO availability for this assignment
• Local candidates accepted at the same rate as the travel rate
• No on-call requirements for this position
