Description

American Traveler is hiring an RN for an ICU float pool position requiring a GA or Compact RN license and 18 months of recent experience.

Details

  • Work in the Internal Float Pool at a hospital setting
  • ICU specialty position
  • 13-week assignment
  • Night shift (NOC), 12-hour shifts
  • No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

  • Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
  • Minimum of 18 months of recent RN experience required
  • CVOR RN candidates must have 18 months of full-time CVOR experience of similar acuity within the last 3 years
  • CVOR candidates must have strong endovascular experience and proficiency (rated 3s and 4s) in cardiac and vascular procedures

Additional Information

  • Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be considered, as local candidates are not accepted
  • Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
  • RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days if not on or near a holiday, or 3 days if falling on or near a holiday
  • Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
  • Candidates may only be submitted to one position at a time
