Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a night-shift float pool role requiring 2 years of ICU experience and Epic charting proficiency.

Details

• Float pool position covering all ICUs including MICU, TICU, Neuro ICU, and Burn ICU
• Night shift, 4x12 hours, 19:00-7:30
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required
• No call requirements
• Uses Epic charting system

Requirements

• Active LA RN license or Compact RN license required at time of consideration
• Minimum 2 years of ICU experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS
• Preferred certifications: CCRN, CPI
• Epic charting experience required
• Previous charge experience preferred
• Broad ICU skill set including ventilator management, hemodynamic monitoring, CRRT/CVVHD, and management of cardiac, neuro, renal, and respiratory patients

Additional Information

• Care for critically ill patients across multiple ICU specialties including cardiovascular, neuro, trauma, and burn units
• Navy blue scrubs required
• Strict 5-day maximum RTO policy
• Local candidates within 75 miles accepted at local rate
• Permanent staff must be separated from the health system for at least 1 year before being eligible to travel
