RN – ICU Float Pool
Specialty: ICU Float Pool
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
Schedule: 3x12 or 4x12
Charting: Epic
Experience: 2+ years ICU experience
Travel Experience: First-time travelers accepted
Facility Experience: 400+ bed hospital experience required
Required:
Active California RN license in hand at submission
BLS
ACLS
NIHSS
Pulmonary artery line / Swan-Ganz experience – REQUIRED
Recent Swan-Ganz experience; skills will be assessed
Strong cardiac, neuro, and critical-care experience
Experience caring for ventilated patients and managing/titrating vasoactive and cardiac drips
Must pass EKG exam on the first day of orientation
Flu vaccine required; no exemptions
Float Requirements:
Must float to MS/Tele/PCU/Stepdown/Overflow units as needed
May float to Overflow PACU
Weekend requirement: at least 6 weekend shifts per 6-week period
Must work 3 of 5 holidays
