Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position requiring CA RN licensure and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Float pool position within the ICU
• Day shift schedule, 07:00 AM-07:30 PM, 36-48 hrs/wk
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of 3 years of ICU experience required
• Recent experience within the last 3 months in the specialty required
• Cerner and Epic experience must be documented in employment history
• ACLS and PALS certifications from American Heart Association required
• No candidates with a prior hit on license will be considered

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care to assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of nursing staff and coordinate care across disciplines
• Collect and analyze patient data to determine diagnosis and care priorities
• Develop and implement care plans, evaluate outcomes, and adjust interventions as needed
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe and effective care delivery
• Provide patient and family education and participate in discharge planning
• Appropriately delegate tasks and coordinate healthcare team duties
