Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU Float Pool position on night shift, requiring CA RN licensure and Epic experience.

Details

• Float pool position within the ICU
• Night shift schedule, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• 36-48 hours per week
• Epic experience required

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• BLS certification from an approved vendor required
• ACLS and PALS certification required
• BSN preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Minimum of three years of ICU experience required
• Recent experience in ICU within the last three months required
• Cerner and Epic experience must be documented in employment history

Additional Information

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for assigned patients according to established standards and the nursing process
• Supervise and direct various levels of assigned nursing staff
• Collaborate with patients, families, and healthcare providers to ensure safe, healing, and humane care
• Participate in discharge planning to ensure continuity of care
• Provide learning opportunities and health information to patients, families, and treatment teams
• Delegate and coordinate duties among healthcare team members
• Located within a Magnet-designated hospital network
• Required vaccinations must be completed as a condition of employment, with medical and religious exemptions possible
