Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit Float (ICU FLOAT) This healthcare organization is seeking a registered nurse to join their team for a temporary assignment starting September 28, 2026. The role involves providing specialized nursing care in an intensive care unit environment, assessing patient needs, implementing care plans, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Job Details

• Certifications, Education, and Experience Requirements: Valid multi-state or State of Oklahoma Registered Nurse License; BLS, ACLS, NIHSS certifications; zero (0) to six (6) months of related experience; Epic experience.
• Schedule: Night shifts, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Responsibilities include utilizing the nursing process, completing patient assessments, individualizing care plans, documenting accurately, facilitating patient education for discharge, and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Demonstrates professional judgment, addresses psychosocial and cultural factors, and adheres to hospital standards and policies.
• Additional Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently, attention to detail in clinical and numerical data, effective communication skills.
• Must meet mandatory in-service training and educational standards, accurately complete variance reports, and utilize resources for patient education.
• The assignment is to be completed by December 26, 2026, with an expected start date of September 28, 2026.
• Float: Float rotation may be required.
