Job Summary: Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Float Nurse position located in Albany, New York. This role requires the ability to adapt quickly to various ICU environments while providing high-quality patient care. The position involves floating across multiple ICU units, supporting the healthcare team through flexible staffing to meet patient needs.
Job Details:
Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours shift, minimum 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license in the state of New York, relevant ICU experience, certifications as applicable, and at least 1 year of clinical experience in intensive care settings.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Level I trauma centers, floating to multiple ICU environments such as neuro/trauma SICU, MICU, CPS/VICU, CCU, PCCU, as well as ICU/PCC patients in the Emergency Department and Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU).
Additional Information: Candidates must have Epic experience, be comfortable working in high-acuity environments, and pass a competency test within 24 hours of submission, sent via email. Scrub colors/dress code should be followed as per facility policy. There are no specified parking restrictions.
