Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for an ICU/Internal Float Pool position requiring an active Georgia or Compact RN license and a minimum of 18 months of relevant experience.

Details

• Hospital-based position within the Internal Float Pool unit
• 13-week assignment with 12-hour AM shifts
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active Georgia or Compact RN license required in hand
• Minimum of 18 months of relevant nursing experience required
• CVOR RN candidates must have 18 months of full-time CVOR experience of similar acuity within the last 3 years, including strong endovascular experience and top ratings (3s and 4s) in cardiac and vascular procedures

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside outside a 50-mile radius of the facility; local candidates are not accepted
• Former Emory or Houston permanent staff must be separated for at least 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests not falling on or near a holiday are limited to a maximum of 5 days, while requests on or near a holiday are limited to 3 days
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
• Requested time off during the holidays must be spread out and not clustered together
