Job Description

The Nursing Coordinator is responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients or assigned groups of patients in accordance with established standards of care and the nursing process. The role involves supervising and directing the activities of various levels of nursing staff and ensuring coordinated care with other healthcare disciplines.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide coordinated nursing care adhering to established care standards.
• Supervise and direct nursing staff activities, ensuring effective teamwork and collaboration.
• Utilize critical thinking and professional discretion in decision-making and patient care.
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Monitor and evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary.
• Facilitate communication among healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) with appropriate licensure.
• Previous experience in a nursing leadership or supervisory role preferred.
• Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team environment.
