Description

American Traveler is hiring an ICU RN for a 13-week night shift assignment requiring VT or compact RN license and critical care experience.

Details

• Work in the ICU/PCU unit of a hospital setting
• Majority of patients are step-down level care
• Care for vented patients with RT support
• Manage basic cardiac drips and insulin drips/protocols for DKA patients
• Night shift schedule (19:00-07:30), 3x12s, 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend required
• No on-call responsibilities

Requirements

• Active VT RN license or multistate compact license required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS
• 3-4 years of critical care experience preferred

Additional Information

• Respond to Rapid Response and Code Blue events as needed
• Assist newer staff with interpreting telemetry rhythm strips
