Job Summary: Critical Care Registered Nurse (RN) Intensive Care Unit (ICU) San Antonio, TX. This role involves providing specialized nursing care within the ICU at a general facility. The position requires the ability to work night shifts in a fast-paced environment dedicated to patient recovery and safety.
Job Details:
Schedule: Nights shift working 12 hours, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Active Texas Registered Nurse (RN) license; at least 2 years of hospital or specialty experience in an ICU or critical care unit; BLS and ACLS certifications; NIH Stroke certification required.
Preferred Qualifications: BSN degree preferred.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Must have experience with documentation systems (Meditech), medication scanning, and controlled substance policies. Candidates must be able to perform procedures such as CABG, General Surgery, IABP, IMPELLA, CRRT, Therapeutic Hypothermia, and Rotoprone Ventilation. Candidates are required to adhere to the dress code, including navy scrub tops and pants, and maintain a professional appearance with neat hair and body art coverage.
