Job Details:
**Minimum Qualifications:** **Licensure / Certification / Registration:** - Advanced Life Support obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. - Registered Nurse credentialed from the Texas Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. **Education:** - Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire. **Unit Specific Requirements:** - Require ACLS, BLS. - Prefer knowledge of CRRT, CABG, Trauma (TCAR/TNCC), Impella, etc. **Other Credentials:** - License: Nursys, License/Certificate Verification - Checklist/Testing: Ascension Core Competencies, Ascension EKG Exam, Ascension Unit Specific Checklist, Ascension Cerner Test-Out. - Professional: Ascension Badge Photo, Ascension Criminal Background Check Results, Ascension EPLS, Ascension Skills Checklist, Ascension 12 Panel Drug Screen, Ascension Education Verification, Ascension Confirmation of Assignment, Ascension Employment Verification, Ascension Profile, Ascension 2 Professional References. - Personal Health History: MMR, Fit Test, Hepatitis B, 2 Step PPD OR IGRA (Quantiferon/Tspot), Varicella, Tdap. **Complexity of Work:** - Requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.
