Job Opportunity – Registered Nurse, ICU – Athens, TX 75751

Start Date: September 8, 2026

Location: Athens, Texas

Schedule: Night shift, 3x12 or 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00). Block scheduling available. Patient ratio 1:2 in a 10-bed intensive care unit with an average daily census of 8 patients.

Requirements:

• Active Texas or Compact RN license (must be in hand at time of application)
• Minimum 2 years of ICU nursing experience preferred
• Previous travel nursing experience preferred
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS required; TNCC preferred
• Epic charting system experience required
• Experience with patient ratios of 2:1 to 3:1
• Proficiency in critical care skills including ventilator management, vasoactive drip titration, arterial line management, central line care, and management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Must complete core compliance items and labs within 48 hours of contract signing
