Description

American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for an ICU position in New Mexico, open to first-time travelers, with a night shift schedule and a 1:2 patient ratio.

Details

• ICU setting within an acute care hospital
• Patient ratio of 1:2
• Night shift schedule, 6:30 PM – 7:00 AM (3x12-hour shifts)
• Option to work 36 or 48 hours per week
• Weekend availability required
• Floating to other units required
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active NM RN license required (pending NM license accepted)
• Compact RN license accepted
• Minimum 1 year of ICU experience required
• Current BLS certification required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Former permanent staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 1 year before being eligible as a traveler
• No travel pairs or groups accepted
• Up to 3 days of RTO may be approved; no RTO during the first week of orientation
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration
