Job Summary: ICU RN Intensive Care Unit Night Shift Located in a healthcare facility. This position involves providing specialized care to critically ill patients in a fast-paced ICU environment. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care in accordance with established protocols and procedures.
Job Details:
Position: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) in an Intensive Care Unit, working the night shift.
Schedule: Nights, 12-hour shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week.
Qualification Requirements: Valid license in state or in a compact state, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support), BLS (Basic Life Support); 1.5 years of ICU experience, familiarity with charting systems such as Epic, and interpretation and management of dysrhythmias.
Preferred Qualifications: Experience with management of patients with multisystem organ dysfunction or failure, arterial line management, central line care, continuous IV sedation, titration of cardiac and vasoactive drips, BiPAP/CPAP management, ventilated patient care, ABG interpretation, suctioning with endotracheal tubes and nasotracheal tubes, and knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE.
Additional Information: All onboarding must be completed within 48 hours of contract signing, including core items and labs. Modules are conducted onsite during orientation. Previous staff must wait 1 year before reapplying as travelers, and all license and RTO (Request for Time Off) requirements must be listed at the time of submittal.
