Job Description:

Carlsbad Medical Center is seeking a Travel ICU RN to provide comprehensive care for ICU patients, including management of ventilators, titratable drips, and patient hygiene. Floating to the ER and Med Surg departments is required as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Provide total care for ICU patients including ventilators and titratable drips.
• Float to ER to assist with tasks such as answering call lights, passing medications, and starting IVs without taking patient assignments.
• Float to Med Surg for full patient assignments or aid duties as required.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of ICU experience required.
• Floating to ER and Med Surg departments required.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Experience with ER and Med Surg preferred.
• TNCC certification preferred.
• Experience with vents, titratable drips, and patient hygiene preferred.
