Job Summary
The ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse position is based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. This role involves providing specialized care in a high-acuity environment, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes. The facility requires nurses to demonstrate a high level of professional competency and adaptability to float to other units and hospitals as needed.
Job Details
Shift Schedule: Days shift with 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
Required Qualifications: Associate degree in nursing, American Heart Association (AHA) Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support (BLS), American Heart Association (AHA) Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) or Red Cross certifications preferred if working in pediatric units, Alabama or compact registered nurse license (no temporary licenses accepted), two years of experience; however, 18 months of experience with the highest level of professional license and at least one year of recent specialty experience will be considered
Additional Information: The position is patient-facing and is a clinical role. The start date for this assignment is August 3, 2026. The facility requires nurses to be willing to float to other units and hospitals. Parking is available at the location.
