Registered Nurse Job Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU experience
• Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• Active AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
• Preferred: CCRN and NIHSS certifications
• Experience with Cerner in a General Medical Surgical ICU preferred
• Strong clinical judgment and the ability to function effectively in a high-acuity critical care environment

ICU RN Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications and treatments according to care plans and provider orders
• Collaborate closely with physicians and the interdisciplinary care team
• Document assessments, interventions, and patient responses accurately
• Support safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care throughout the shift
