Travel ICU Registered Nurse opportunity in Albuquerque, NM 87102: bring your critical care experience to a 13-week night shift assignment in a fast-paced Intensive Care Unit. Job Details

• Setting: Intensive Care Unit (ICU)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks
• Shift: Night shift, 4x12-hour schedule (18:30 - 07:00)
• Shift Duration: 12-hour nights
• Weekly Hours: 36 hours per week, with option for 48 hours at straight time
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $1,620-$1,700
• Patient Ratio: 1:2
• Unit Size: 32 beds
• Orientation: 24 hours
• Schedule Notes: Weekends required; float required within scope as needed
• Location: Albuquerque, NM 87102

Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license; pending New Mexico or compact license accepted if obtained prior to start
• At least 1.5 years of recent ICU nursing experience required
• ACLS, BLS, and NIHSS certifications required
• Experience with critical care patient management and common ICU procedures preferred
• Comfortable floating to MS, Stepdown, PCU, ER, and CVICU within scope
• Weekend availability required
• Travel nurse applicants must be ready for a travel assignment; local candidates within 50 miles are not accepted

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill adult patients in the ICU
• Monitor patient status closely and respond quickly to changes in condition
• Administer medications, manage IV therapy, and support ventilated patients as needed
• Collaborate with physicians and the care team to deliver safe, effective treatment
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and follow established protocols
• Support patient flow, adaptability, and teamwork across assigned units when floating
• Contribute to a positive, dependable, and patient-centered critical care environment
