Job Summary:
The ICU Registered Nurse (RN) position is based in an acute care unit located in Clyde, North Carolina. This role involves providing specialized care to adult patients within a 12-bed Intensive Care Unit that handles critical diagnoses such as sepsis, COPD exacerbation, hypotension urgency, and hypertension urgency. Orientation is scheduled bi-weekly, with upcoming start dates on 08/17/2026, 08/31/2026, and 09/14/2026. The assignment offers a dynamic work environment with a focus on adult patient care.

Job Details:

• Schedule: Days shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Certifying in Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS); minimum of 1 year of experience in an Intensive Care Unit (ICU); Associates degree or higher in nursing; located within the United States; and at least 1 year of experience in a relevant healthcare setting.
• Preferred Qualifications: Prior ICU experience highly preferred.
• Float: Occasionally float to Progressive Care Unit (PCU).
• Additional Information:
  • Unit has 12 beds with a patient-to-nurse ratio of 2:1.
  • Electronic Health Record (EHR) system used is Paragon.
  • The position is a replacement of permanent staff.
  • Attire includes navy scrubs; unacceptable attire includes excessive piercings and unnatural hair colors.
