Job Requirements

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Trauma ICU experience from a Level I or Level II Trauma Center
• Surgical ICU experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• No LTAC experience considered for this role
• Strong teamwork, flexibility, and a positive attitude
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to critical care

Responsibilities

• Provide skilled critical care nursing to complex ICU patients
• Perform and assist with advanced procedures including intubation, extubation, chest tube placement, central line placement, and A-line placement
• Support care for patients requiring CRRT/HD, proning, TPA administration, hypertonic medication administration, and trach placement
• Assist with bronchoscopy, endoscopy, EVD/bolt placement, and minor surgical procedures as needed
• Monitor hemodynamic status and maintain high standards of patient safety
• Float to other ICUs or Step Down units when needed, with travelers floating before core staff
• Collaborate with physicians and the multidisciplinary care team to deliver efficient, high-quality critical care
