# Exciting Opportunity for ICU Travel RN (650) **Job Description:** - **Unit Information:** - **Location:** 9191 Grant St, Thornton, CO 80229 - **Floors:** 1 & 2 (two pods) - **Total Beds:** 28 - **Staffing:** - 42 dedicated staff members, including charge nurses and critical care techs. - **Unit Highlights:** - Pod A (recently expanded, opened 1/24/19) - 12 beds - Pod B (second floor) - 16 beds - Flexible patient ratios: 1:2 typically, with potential for 1:1 or 1:3 based on acuity. - **Patient Care:** - Experience diverse cases including: - Neuro surgical - Trauma (level III, advancing to level II) - Cardiac arrest - Respiratory arrest - Alcohol/Drug withdrawal - Comprehensive care for all vented patients. - **Equipment & Technology:** - Utilize advanced technology including Pyxis, Plum Pump IVs, GE bedside monitors, Nelcor, Arctic Sun, and Sub Zero. - **EMR System:** Meditech. - **Desired Skill Set:** - **Must Have:** - Minimum of 1 year current acute care hospital ICU experience. - Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIH. - **Preferred:** - TNCC certification. - Meditech experience. - **Personality Fit:** - We seek individuals who are: - Flexible and willing to jump in to assist the team. - Positive, patient-centered, with a focus on quality care. - **Why You’ll Love Working Here:** - Engage with a variety of nursing staff, many with 20+ years of experience. - Join our newly expanded ICU designed for 28 patients, enhancing our care capabilities. - Participate in a level II trauma survey this year. - Collaborate with our dedicated Intensivists available 24/7, known for their expertise and supportive approach to teaching. - Enjoy a welcoming environment, where travelers are appreciated and valued. - Average census of 100-125 patients ensuring a dynamic work experience. **Why Catalytic Solutions (CatSol):** At CatSol, we connect dedicated therapists with rewarding assignments across the country.
