Job Summary:
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Travel Registered Nurse position in a healthcare facility. This role involves providing direct, high-acuity nursing care to critically ill adult patients. The RN will work independently in a fast-paced hospital environment, collaborating with physicians and interdisciplinary care teams to stabilize patients, implement treatment plans, and promote safe, quality outcomes.

Job Details:

• Shift Schedule: Nights, 12 hours per shift, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Required Qualifications: Graduate of an accredited nursing program; current, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state of practice or active multi-state compact privilege; minimum of two years recent ICU or critical-care nursing experience; current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification; current Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification; demonstrated experience caring for ventilated patients and managing critical-care medications; ability to pass required background checks, drug screening, health screening, and competency assessments; experience with electronic medical records and computerized documentation.

• Additional Information: The position requires the nurse to float to comparable units when needed, based on competency and facility policy. Candidates must be able to stand and walk for extended periods, assist with lifting and repositioning patients, respond quickly during emergencies, and perform physical tasks in a critical-care environment, with or without reasonable accommodation. All travel submissions must include at least 2 years of experience along with prior travel experience. No local candidates will be considered.
