Job Summary
The organization is seeking an ICU (Intensive Care Unit) registered nurse for a travel assignment in the ICU department. This position involves providing continuous, high-acuity patient care in an acute care setting, utilizing clinical expertise and technology to support patient recovery and safety.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, with potential assignment to day, evening, or night shifts based on departmental needs and scheduled off at least three holidays per year. Overtime may be required.
Required Qualifications: Licensed and currently registered to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) obtained within 12 months of employment; NIH Stroke Scale Certification obtained during orientation; minimum of 2 years of ICU experience.
Additional Information: Candidates must be willing to work a schedule that includes weekends and potential overtime. The orientation includes 8 hours of non-billable training. Call-off and cancellation policies permit up to 12 hours notice during a 13-week assignment. Must hold a license in the state of practice and submit the license for verification. The unit is classified as Level 3 Trauma and is situated in an acute care division. The team utilizes EPIC as the charting system. No BSN required.
