Job Summary Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) position available in a healthcare facility setting. This role involves providing high-acuity patient care in the ICU, utilizing nursing standards and clinical expertise. The ICU RN acts as a patient advocate, offering education to patients and families, and ensuring continuous monitoring and support. The position involves working night shifts with a focus on safety, assessment, and intervention for critically ill patients.
Job Details
Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, minimum of 36 hours per week, scheduled to start on 10/19/2026 and end on 12/14/2026.
Required Qualifications: Current and valid license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the state of permanent residency; American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS); Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) to be obtained within 12 months of employment; NIH Stroke Scale Certification to be obtained during orientation; minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
Preferred Qualifications: None specified.
Float: Float rotation may be required.
Additional Information: Local candidates are not accepted due to a 50-mile radius restriction. Call-off policy allows cancellation up to 12 hours before the shift. Orientation includes an 8-hour non-billable session. The department may assign day, evening, or night shifts and expects overtime on occasion. Experience with the EPIC charting system is preferred.
